Centre Pompidou

Experiencing Centre Pompidou was a treat, I do like modern contemporary art more than the ancient stuff 🙂 Until 2th of January 2023 there is a “retrospective dedicated to Gérard Garouste, one of the greatest contemporary French painters and proponent of uncompromising figuration, brings together 120 major paintings, often in very large format, and presents installations, sculptures and graphic works by the artist.”

And of course much more art to enjoy. There is a Miró painting and sculpture. And a “layout of the antechamber to the private apartments at the Elysée for president Georges Pompidou” by Yaacov Agam. A impressive painting by Anselm Kiefer.
