In Antwerp, I took things slow. I wandered through the city, stopped when something caught my eye, and visited a few great museums. I spent time at FOMU, the photography museum, and a contemporary art museum. Both had inspiring exhibitions and beautiful spaces to explore. I also made a small detour to visit La Piscine in Roubaix, just across the border in France. That museum is located in a former art deco swimming pool and has a really unique vibe—definitely worth the trip.
In between, I did some shopping. Antwerp is great for browsing—design stores, clothing, small surprises. It’s a stylish city without feeling too busy.
After the city, I stayed a few days in Londerzeel, a quiet town where I could really unwind. Mornings started with a relaxed breakfast in my apartment. I usually made a cheese and ham sandwich to take along on my walks. I didn’t follow any set route—just wandered through fields and forest paths, stopping to sit and enjoy the silence.
Tomorrow I’ll head back home, with a stop in Utrecht to visit a friend. It was a simple trip, but just what I needed.
